$99.99

  • With over 200 lumens of light, the Blizzard Buster makes you more visible to other riders.
  • Better visibility, even in the worst snow dust conditions day or night.
  • The Blizzard Buster provides an increased level of safety for all snowmobilers, especially families and groups.
  • With its factory-look, the splitter is built-in to the side vent and replaces the DOT badge on the back. It connects the DC power from your snowmobile to both your heated shield and the Blizzard Buster.
  • Highly efficient solid red LEDs draw less than 0.5 watts. Does not interfere with the functionality of the heated shield.
  • Only fits the Mission helmet. Installation video link included with the Blizzard Buster. Comes in either gloss black or matte black to match the opposite side vent.
  • INSTALLATION WARNING: Install on a warm helmet using the supplied alcohol prep pads. DO NOT over-tighten the back plate screws. Warranty is voided if not installed properly or without watching the installation video.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR COILING SPACING

With your front coil springs adjusted for your individual riding style, measure the distance between the coils (See Diagram), with your machine on the ground under its own weight.

I live and ride snowmobiles in Ely Minnesota. My wife and I have standard helmets with heated shields and I installed the red Bite Harder light kits on both of them. We have relatives and friends that ride with us. Riding at night, when snowing, or following in snow dust limits visibility especially riding in a large group. “Safety issue” I normally lead when other riders are unfamiliar with the area. It’s very easy to loose sight of riders. “NOT with the BITE-HARDER”. I always get complements about how “VISIBLE” the lights are. I recently purchased a Mission helmet. I immediately ordered the new Mission Safety Light Kit and couldn’t be happier. The installation was pretty easy following step by step with the video. The only suggestion I have is, “use a pencil eraser to remove the two sided sticky tape residue off the helmet once the Mission left vent is removed”. Using my thumb to role the tape residue off as suggested in the video gave me a blister. That stuff is tuff. I used a pencil eraser and it worked much better. This kit works flawlessly.

    Respectfully,
    David F
