With your snowmobile on the ground under its own weight, measure the distance between the coils of your front suspension springs.
Select the appropriate ring height based on your measurement:
- 0.70 to 0.89 inches (18 to 22 mm)
- 0.90 to 1.09 inches (23 to 27 mm)
- 1.10 to 1.29 inches (28 to 32 mm)
- 1.30 to 1.50 inches (33 to 38 mm)
Choose the tuning density that matches your riding style:
- Soft: For moderate speeds and improved overall control.

I purchased a set of these back in 2017/2018 for my 2016 Ski-doo Enduro 600. I forgot about them in a box with my other snowmobile stuff. Installed them this past weekend and my son said there was a noticeable improvement in handling while riding the 12″-14″ moguls this weekend 2/26/2022 in the Upper Peninsula. It took the sharpness out of the hit while riding 40mph along the north trail from Paradise to Pine stump Junction. I just ordered 3 more sets for our other machines.

Update: Installed the Rings for our weekend trip to the UP and Drummand Island. We did not see miles of monster moguls…Fortunately…but every bump or mogul that we did cross was dampened noticeably and the sled did not buck at all. We rode around 150 miles and I stuck my ski into every mogul while testing it out. For the money with stock shocks and springs they are really good at softening the hit.

Three sleds all ski-doo’s ’16 Enduro 600, ’19 Enduro 850, and ’19 MXZ TNT 850 with stock HPG shocks and medium Poly-tune rings installed.

Purchased these a few yrs ago to improve handling on a stock set of 2018 Arctic Cat 1.5 IFP shocks. Results were flater cornering and improved resistance to front diving in moguls. Best low cost improvement I have tried on a stock set up.
