For best results start with a fresh set of studs, but our PRO Series tools can handle moderately worn studs too. A high speed electric die grinder that will make 10,000 RPM’s or greater is required to make quick work of sharpening—allowing you to restore an entire track in a short amount of time. It’s a faster, more efficient alternative to removing and replacing dull studs.
